interlude. ("we", "our", "the app") is built and operated by Morgan Johnstone in Sydney, Australia. This policy explains what data the app collects, why, where it lives, and how to get it deleted.

We don't sell your data. We don't use advertising trackers, and we don't track you across other apps or websites. We use one product-analytics provider and one crash-reporting provider to keep the app working and improve it — both are described below.

What we collect

Account information

Signing in is optional. You can use the whole app without an account: interlude. creates an anonymous session on first launch and every feature works from there. Sign in with Apple only if you want your followed artists to carry over to another device.

If you do sign in with Sign in with Apple, Apple sends us:

• A unique Apple user identifier
• Your name (only if you choose to share it on first sign-in)
• An email address (which may be your real address or a private Apple relay address — your choice)

This information is stored in our database (Supabase) so we know which account belongs to you across devices.

Push notification tokens

If you grant notification permission, your device generates a push token. We store this token so we can send you push notifications for new releases, videos, podcasts, and throwbacks from artists you follow. The token does not identify you personally — it identifies a device.

Your follows and preferences

We store:

• Which artists you follow
• Your preferred streaming platform (Spotify or Apple Music)
• Which releases you've marked as "heard"
• Notification settings (global and per-artist)
